AFA wants you to meet Malik! He is a wonderful young man with a promising future!  He is currently a football player for Bay High in Florida.  He will be attending the Jimbo Fischer Camp at Florida State University in late July! Here is his story:

Growing up in a single parent home, Malik has faced many hardships.  Instead of letting his hardships have a negative effect on his life, he turns his struggles into something positive in his life.  In 2010, his mother lost her job due to complications from diabetes and neuropathy.  Malik’s family lost their car and home, and is having to live with family friends who have taken them in.  Malik’s mother stated, “Only by God’s grace and mercy do we make it day to day.”  Others say Malik never shows his struggles and is determined to be positive and make the best of his life.  We believe in Malik and are so proud of his efforts.  Work hard in Tallahassee and keep us updated!!!

We are so proud of one of our babies! TJ will be attending FIU, in Miami, FL and playing college football! Wow!

It is so refreshing to hear of a sports facility mixing God with sports.  It is an incredibly powerful mixture!  We are working to help them and they are working to help us in the future! Thank you~

Angels For Athletics sent four boys to the Jimbo Fischer Football Camp at Florida State!  The boys had an incredible experience and the coaches were impressed! Congrats, boys!

“My daughter was at a meet at Disney when I found the pamphlet and realized what a blessing that would be to anyone who needed it and our circumstances have changed and the financial stress of the sport my daughter has spent her life doing is more than we can manage when I remembered the flyer I picked up and realized I could access the gift of love from yet another angel who crossed my path at a time I wasn’t even paying much attention. Just like many of the other blessings I have received in the last several months.”
